With a deadline of less than five days, we developed an application to allow supporters to sign up for the Kennedy mailing list. After they entered their information, they were asked to share the page with their friends by entering their email or Facebook login information and then automatically sending a note to all, or selected contacts. The form even had a gauge that was automatically updated after each submission.
