Jeff Lyon
Head of Development
The boundaries of the Internet are constantly evolving. Jeff's job is to build the framework for your site using all of the latest technology. He creates Section 508-compliant, standards-based websites using XHTML and CSS and a variety of server and client-side programming languages.
Jeff built his first website at age 13 to share his experiences living abroad in Ireland with his friends and family back home. In high school, he began developing dynamic sites with databases. At 16, he created WWWToolz, a service providing message boards, polls and other scripts for webmasters to include on their own sites. It eventually grew to over 20,000 registered members.
In college, Jeff worked for the Colorado College Communications Office as New Media Project Assistant while studying for his physics major. During his four years in the office, Jeff gained invaluable experience working with clients to combine elegant site design with the clients' message. He also created dynamic web applications including a full-featured event calendar that improved the office's efficiency.
Jeff has experience working with clients on a wide-range of websites, from simple static websites, to interactive multimedia implementations, and full-featured web applications. To see some of these sites, have a look at the Albatross Digital development portfolio.
